Iconic TT models with RS credentials
Blistering performance, never before has a TT been this powerful. The new Audi TT RS is the result of years of motorsport experience combined with an iconic sports car to create the ultimate incarnation. Still equipped with the Audi’s famous five-cylinder 2.5 litre TFSI engine for an unmistakable sound, the new TT RS now produces 400PS for a 0-62mph time of just 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 174mph.
Just as impressive as the performance figures is the way the TT RS looks. Like the previous generation, the new TT RS Coupe and TT RS Roadster are instantly recognisable as an Audi RS model with large, purposeful air in-takes at the front and a fixed wing to the rear. The 2016 TT RS is the first Audi to be fitted with OLED rear lights that gives high contrast light that does not cast any shadows nor does it require reflectors, making the taillights visually impressive. Fitted with 19” alloy wheels as standard or with an option to upgrade to 20-inches, the TT RS has a muscular stance with perfect proportions. This communicated the performance potential through aesthetic design.
Inside the cockpit you will find racing car inspiration. All information is displayed on the 12.3” Audi Virtual Cockpit allowing the driver to focus attention on the road and a special RS screen highlights the rev counter and provides additional information such as tyre pressure, torque and g-force. For the first time, the RS sport leather steering wheel features two satellite buttons; one for turning on and off the engine and the other for Audi Drive Select. Other highlights include MMI navigation plus, a WiFi hotspot and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
