New colours, new engines and new technology for the A3
All of a sudden, there’s a lot more in an A3. Audi has announced a raft of 2016 new Audi A3 enhancements and you’ll be able to order a new A3 with all the benefits of these 2016 technology, style and equipment upgrades from May for delivery towards the end of summer.
With its 12.3” TFT screen, the digital Audi Virtual Cockpit will now be available as an option across the A3 range, offering the driver all the most important information required in an easy to see and use format with voice control for many of the functions. There are new safety and assistance systems available too, like traffic jam assist, rear cross traffic assist and emergency assist. Audi phonebox with inductive charging helps you stay in touch, as you can now connect two phones to the A3’s Bluetooth. All this technology has to move beautifully and the A3 can now be specified with two new engines: the 1.0 TFSI three-cylinder and the 2.0 TFSI with an innovative combustion process; there is also a power upgrade for the S3 of 10PS, taking it up to 310PS and a torque upgrade for the S tronic of 20Nm, taking it up to 40Nm.
