New bi-turbo technology gives 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds
It’s a world first for this exciting Audi technology being revealed at the annual Wörthersee Tour festival in Austria.
The TT clubsport turbo boasts some amazing numbers: 600PS, 650Nm, 0-62mph in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 192mph. The five-cylinder 2.5 TFSI engine is fitted with an electric bi-turbo which can give maximum rpm with no delay, so this TT concept can sprint the first 16 metres from a standing start in only 2.5 seconds. A 48-volt electrical system powered by a compact lithium-ion battery power is the muscle behind the electric bi-turbo featured on this Audi TT concept.
Some other highlights of the Audi TT clubsport turbo concept:
- All-wheel-drive quattro system with adjustable coilover suspension
