Career Building for Women at Group 1
Recently, Group 1 hosted another successful event for its aspiring women, this time focussing on career building towards senior management roles within our centres.

We were incredibly lucky to hear from some of Group 1’s most experienced and senior women as well as a female OEM partner and female Board members. These inspirational women shared their professional experience and spoke to everyone who attended about the specific skills they have found helpful in their careers.
Filled with plenty of opportunity for discussion, breakout sessions to explore professional skills, a panel discussion and fun activities, the event raised spirits, hopes and dreams.
The event allowed us to connect and collaborate and recognise the many skills that we bring to the business. Women at the event contributed to our ‘Give & Get Boards’, posting both skills they can share as well as new skills they want to learn – a very friendly and empowering way to upskill ourselves. We will continue to connect with each other through the ‘Give & Get’ idea and are encouraging more people to join this skill sharing.
