The Role

  • To manage the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets.
  • To ensure all Service diagnostic and repair work is completed efficiently and competently to group and Manufacturers standards.
  • Monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure key performance indicators are met.
  • Plan the distribution of work amongst the team utilising available skills mix
  • To manage the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets.
  • To ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of the department
  • The position will focus particularly on the accurate prognosis and first time repair of faults in order to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction

Who we're looking for

As a Workshop Manager, you must have previous experience in a similar capacity. Franchise experience is preferred. Communication and organisation are the key requirements, along with a strong customer service ethos. You also need:

  • Analytical Ability
  • Commercial Awareness

You must be eligible to work in the UK. Applicants must have previous training records covering all relevant areas along with a high level of understanding of automotive electrical systems.
