Multi-sensory Peugeot driving experience
Already hugely successful and in great demand on current models, there’s now a new Peugeot i-Cockpit been developed, which will offer drivers and passengers, a safer, more multi-sensory and more informative and entertaining driving experience.
Over two million Peugeot cars already benefit from the Peugeot i-Cockpit, which is currently available on the 208, the 2008 and the 308. Now Peugeot has taken the i-Cockpit to a new level, based on customer feedback and on real-world simulations of the Peugeot driving experience. As a result, the steering wheel is now smaller, allowing more manoeuvrability, better vehicle responsiveness, improved vision and more leg room; there’s a head-up instrument display with a 12.3” fully customisable, digital display, which brings all the essential information to the driver without needing to look away from the road; there’s 3D navigation with TomTom traffic information; and voice recognition allows hands-free texting, whilst connectivity is enhanced by Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink and Android Auto. There’s also an interactive 8” touchscreen for the infotainment system.

All the senses can be engaged with the new Peugeot i-Cockpit, as lighting and colour have been creatively integrated, the seats have been upgraded to offer multipoint massage functions, there are atmospheric music options and even a fragrance diffuser with settings for dynamic or calm driving modes. We don’t know which new model the new Peugeot i-Cockpit will appear on first, but we can’t wait to find out. In the meantime, you could check out the current 208, 2008 and 308 models, which are all available with the current i-Cockpit.
