SKODA doubly successful at Auto Express Awards 2015
The new SKODA Superb has already won the 2015 Auto Express Family Car of the Year Award and it’s only just opened for orders with first deliveries not due until September. But it was a double triumph for SKODA with the Citigo winning the City Car of the Year Award, a position the Citigo has held since 2012 – yet again no other manufacturer or city car was able to topple the amazing little Citigo.
It’s new and it’s truly Superb – offering up to 67.3 mpg, CO2 emissions as low as 109g/km and a luggage space of up to 1,700 litres, the new SKODA Superb has the styling, the equipment levels and the spaciousness to easily justify the Family Car of the Year Award, and it’s excellent value for money too. Editor-in-chief of Auto Express said: “...what seals the deal is that it is now a seriously stylish car that you’ll be proud to have parked on your drive.”
When you want to really go in the city or anywhere, the SKODA Citigo is remarkably nippy and agile, as well as offering CO2 emissions as low as 95g/km, so no road tax. There’s good rear seat space for two adults, as well as up to 951 litres of boot space with the rear seats down. Auto Express Editor-in-chief said: “With its compact dimensions, lively three-cylinder engine and great build quality, it remains a hugely appealing proposition for buyers.”
